OET’s mission requirements focus on identifying, assessing, and informing FEMA and its mission partners about emerging threats that could challenge national response and recovery capabilities. This mission area covers a broad spectrum of evolving hazards, from cyberattacks and climate-driven impacts to advanced weapons technologies, requiring strong analytical support, cross-agency collaboration, and seamless integration of intelligence, data analytics, and risk assessments to drive FEMA operational planning and capability development.\nThe person in this role will:\nSupport in communicating, in a systematic and consistent way, with multiple stakeholders about cross-cutting issues and engaging FEMA Leadership, Public Affairs and Congressional Affairs, as needed and as requested\nCreate and distribute internal communications on upcoming CBRN policy issues and initiatives to educate FEMA senior leadership\nDevelop briefings, presentations, after action reports, video, and graphics support supporting the OET Director or members of the OET Management Team\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data, communicate findings, and support analysis and decision-making related to emergency preparedness, response, and emerging threats\nProvide support in periodic events and informal meetings\nMaintain, update, and when needed develop, the FEMA OET internal and external website\nDevelop products such as brochures, kiosks, and visuals to help showcase the Office mission\nGraphics & Messaging: Supports the Office on social and official messaging, graphics development and video projects as needed to further the CBRN Office objectives as related to the FEMA/CBRN mission\nSupport the development and delivery of articles to be published in emergency publications\nProvide training and advisement to FEMA employees on regulations, threat analysis documents, and interactions with various emerging threat stakeholders\nResearch, analyze, and develop materials for speeches and testimony to be given by FEMA senior leadership\nDraft periodic reports covering relevant events that can be shared broadly across FEMA\nEnsure 508 compliance on all contractor developed videos and documents developed for distribution\n US Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust\n7+ years of experience in FEMA, emerging threats, or policy analysis\nBachelors Degree in related field\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills\nProficiency with all MS Office product and Adobe Acrobat\nExperience using Microsoft Power BI to
