The global network operates across 198 countries and territories, with 3,400 multinational customers with multiple sites, using 5,200 points of presence\nWhat I’ll be doing - your accountabilities\nEnsure the scope of delivery is understood, that the solution meets the business need and that plans are comprehensive and are achieved\nProduce and agree network delivery plan and manage dependencies\nAssists with planning and monitoring of all activities, from scoping to live, to ensure agreed scope and benefits are delivered in a contained project.\nEnsure all delivery agents review, size and commit to the delivery & costs of the design for the network delivery\nDevelops working relationships and communicates with a range of project stakeholders across teams to ensure actions completed, progress updated and impacts on other components managed.\nSupports engagement with third party suppliers on network solution requirements\nBe able to understand and articulate designs with key stakeholders\nIdentify pre requisites to network deliveries and ensure that they are delivered\nRun a regular project review forum with all stakeholders covering risks/issues/finances/status/re sources\nReviews own work and peers’ outputs to contribute to identify and flag errors or potential issues\nManage RAG status and expectations of a network delivery with relevant stakeholders\nSupports the identification and resolution of issues and defects to ensure delivery to required standard.\nIdentify when network deliveries are at risk and take corrective action to resolve\nSupports a component of a technical project, requiring management of a limited degree of risk or business impact.\nAccountable for meeting committed finance figures for the network deliveries\nMake recommendations for improvements to processes.\nIdentify and implement changes to improve quality and reduce costs\nRegular reporting updates to advise of progress to all stakeholders\nEngagement with relevant stakeholders to agree post implementation testing, trial, pilot, launch plans as appropriate\nResponsible for ensuring the scoping of e2e testing\nSkills required for the job\nProfessional qualification/accreditation\nProject Management Skills\nCommunciation Skills\nDelivery management: strong skills in creating and delivering a network delivery plan including identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, finances and resources\nBusiness acumen: Knowledgeable in business strategy and the drivers of organisational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases\nConnected leaders behaviours\nSolution Focused Achiever\nInspiring communicator\nCustomer Champion.\nExperience you would be expected to have\nWorked alongside colleagues/led team through a period of intense stress and pressure\nDeveloped quotes / business cases and ways to avoid costs\nDeveloped an internal network of strong working relationships you can call on to assist with your role\nAdvocating and applying technology where it has not been used previously\nHandled office politics/disagreements whist maintaining personal integrity\nSuggested cost savings to assist budgets\nDelivered results when the deliverables were unclear\nUsed knowledge of the business to sell, negotiate or persuade\nTackled process/policy obstacles to delivery\nExperience using and preferably accreditation in a Project Methodology (i.e. Prince2).\nCoaching experience and ability to matrix manage teams.\nSome knowledge and experience of business operations, business strategy, financial and operational strategic analysis.\nKnowledge and or experience in BT Product Portfolio and BT’s Concept to Market Processes\nContinuous improvement and business improvement experience\nJoin us at a pivotal moment for BT Business.
