We are committed to supporting families, empowering staff, and fostering a positive, mission-driven work environment.\nAs we continue to grow, we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations and ensure a consistent and compliant employee experience.\nPosition Summary\nThe Human Resources Generalist supports the day-to-day execution of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. This role works closely with the HR Lead to implement processes, support employees, and ensure adherence to company policies and California labor laws.\nThis position is hands-on and detail-oriented, focused on execution rather than strategic leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Operations & Administration\nSupport daily HR operations and ensure timely execution of HR processes.\n\nMaintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation.\n\nAssist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.\n\nEnsure data accuracy in HRIS systems.\n\nEmployee Relations\nServe as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures.\n\nSupport employee relations matters by documenting issues and escalating to HR Manager as needed.\n\nAssist in disciplinary processes, investigations, and follow-ups under HR Manager guidance.\n\nCompliance & Documentation\nEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable California labor laws.\n\nMaintain and track required certifications, background checks, and employee credentials.\n\nAssist with audits and ensure proper documentation is in place.\n\nPayroll & Workforce Support\nSupport payroll processes by reviewing timekeeping and ensuring accuracy of employee data.\n\nAssist with employee status changes, leave tracking, and updates in HR systems.\n\nCoordinate offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates.\n\nOrganizational Support\nSupport initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive work environment.\n\nAssist in coordinating trainings, meetings, and HR-related communications.\n\nProvide general administrative support to the HR department.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.\n\n2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative support role.\n\nBasic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws (California knowledge).\n\nBilingual English/Spanish required.\n\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\n\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information.\n\nDetail-oriented with strong follow-through.\n\nExperience with HRIS systems
