You will safely operate company test vehicles along assigned routes while\nworking with engineers conducting mobile device and network testing.\nThis is a safety-focused driving role. Safe vehicle operation must remain the driver’s top priority\nat all times.\nWhat You’ll Do\n Safely operate company vehicles along assigned field-testing routes\n Drive in urban, highway, and high-traffic environments, including occasional out-of-state\nroutes\n Follow assigned routes, navigation tools, schedules, and field instructions\n Comply with all applicable traffic laws, parking regulations, and company driving requirements\n Maintain full attention on the road and avoid mobile devices, test equipment, screens, or other distractions while driving\n Practice defensive driving and operate vehicles smoothly and safely\n Maintain awareness of traffic, pedestrians, road hazards, weather, and changing driving conditions\n Perform basic vehicle checks and maintain fueling, cleanliness, and vehicle readiness\n Secure vehicles and equipment during stops, breaks, and unattended periods\n Promptly report vehicle issues, accidents, incidents, citations, or safety concerns\n Maintain accurate driving logs and assigned task records\n Follow company, client, safety, security, and confidentiality requirements\nWhat You’ll Bring (Required)\n Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record meeting company, client, and applicable insurance requirements\n Strong commitment to defensive and distraction-free driving\n Ability to remain focused while testing activities and conversations occur inside the vehicle\n Comfortable driving for extended periods in varying traffic, road, and weather conditions\n Familiarity with GPS/navigation applications such as Google Maps or Waze\n Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to follow assigned routes and schedules\n Strong safety awareness, professionalism, and responsibility\n Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding company and client projects, equipment, and information\nNice to Have\n Previous professional driving, delivery, transportation, or similar experience\n Defensive driving or driver-safety training\n Experience supporting field operations, engineering, telecommunications, or technology teams\nWork Environment\n Primarily field-based position involving extended periods of driving and sitting\n Part-time schedule based on project and testing needs\n Routes may include urban streets, highways, and high-traffic areas\n Testing activities and engineering discussions may occur inside the vehicle; however, safe vehicle operation always takes priority\n May include early-morning, evening, or weekend schedules\n Occasional out-of-state driving may be required\nWhy work at BTI?\nWe’re committed to creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
