Vendor Management\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistic Analyst to collaborate cross-functionally with the Supply Chain Planner, Logistics Planner, Customer Management, and Transportation Operations teams.\nIn this role, the Logistic Analyst will ensure that all deliveries are effectively translated into a systemic analysis of large volumes of data within the Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This analysis will support the achievement of sales targets and the fulfillment of customer delivery expectations.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.\nRole and Responsibilities\nQuickly and proactively evaluate and resolve problems that may arise while trucks and drivers are in transit.\nAbility to expect the unexpected and monitor and adjust today and tomorrow’s plans throughout the day.\nParticipates and/or leads strategic projects related to freight and transportation, implementing improvements in the process and operation that would either reduce costs or increase logistics efficiency.\nMonitor/Negotiate transportation costs ensuring low cost with a high service level, contracts/rates for shipment, storage fees, and distribution status of the product\nVarious systems management (internal and external) to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly tasks.\nAbility to proficiently manage multiple tasks/projects while staying organized in day to day activities.\nWork directly with 3PLs to resolve customer complaints and issues.\nEstablish and measure KPIs by applying statistical methods that could positively drive the performance of on-time delivery, warehouse inventory management, and product quality\nDocumenting and data collection for supporting departments/activities\nAbility to make decisions based on cost and service drivers to better serve the organization.\nAd-hoc support includes providing ad-hoc support for our sales team, executives, supply chain team, finance team, accounting team, and regulatory team (providing documents, creating reports, and more as requested) Required Education/Experience\nBachelor’s Degree preferred and 3+ years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.\nLoad Planning/Order Management experience is a plus.\nKnowledge of Transportation Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems.\nStrong Excel proficiency and skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work well in teams and work with remote teammates.\nWorks on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions.\nExercises judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.\nTypically has general knowledge of logistics operations related to employee’s specific area of work, and knowledge of overall logistics operations.\nIs able to identify standard problems within the delivery cycle and makes a recommendation to provide a solution to achieve customer satisfaction.\nAbility to work extended periods of time in an open office environment Skills and Qualifications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nThorough understanding of company products and logistics.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software\nPay Range: $25/hr - $27/hr\nBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)\nretirement plan; paid sick leave; life, accidental death & dismemberment\n(AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance; and optional voluntary\nlife/AD&D coverage.
