This role is responsible for\nend-to-end RFP/RFQ execution, vendor sourcing (MHE, staffing, racking, automation), cost modeling, and\noperational procurement workflows utilizing the client’s internal logistics platform (Cello).\nKey Responsibilities:\nPricing, Cost Analysis & Executive Reporting\n· Build dynamic cost models (storage, labor, equipment, VAS) to evaluate 3PL proposals\nand benchmark against direct-operation costs.\n· Generate executive-level reports, pricing summaries, and scenario comparisons to\nsupport strategic decision-making and site selection.\n· Analyze rate structures and identify cost-saving and operational improvement\nopportunities across distribution centers.\nSourcing & Contract Management (3PL & Direct Operations)\n· Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for 3PL warehousing operations and direct-operation\nsupport vendors (staffing agencies, MHE providers, rack installers, automation systems).\n· Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations to draft, review, and maintain service\nagreements (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs), rate cards.\n· Oversee contract extensions, pricing amendments, and scope-change controls with\ninternal/external partners.\n· Conduct vendor benchmarking, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons to ensure\ncompetitive pricing, service capability, and compliance with internal procurement\nrequirements.\nLogistics Platform (Cello) & Cross-Functional Collaboration\n· Execute end-to-end procurement workflows within the client’s Cello platform, including\nRFQ floating, vendor quote consolidation, and commercial bid evaluations.\n· Oversee contract and billing administration in Cello, ensuring timely registration of\nmaster rate cards, monitoring billing settlements, and resolving cost variances.\n· Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricing\naccuracy, operational feasibility, and system alignment.\nAd Hoc Projects & Strategic Initiatives\n· Lead and support ad hoc logistics, sourcing, pricing, and operational projects driven by\nevolving business requirements, customer needs, and management priorities.\n· Develop rapid business cases, cost analyses, market benchmarks, and sourcing\nstrategies for new warehouse operations, network changes, customer opportunities, and\nspecial projects.\n· Support new site launches, expansions, relocations, operational transitions, and other\ntime-sensitive initiatives from initial feasibility assessment through vendor sourcing and\nimplementation.\n· Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and solutions, including warehouse\nautomation, MHE, robotics, and other productivity-enhancement initiatives, from both\noperational and financial perspectives.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance,\nBusiness, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in logistics\npricing, cost modeling, warehousing procurement, or contract administration.\nTechnical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel (financial/cost modeling, pivot tables),\nPowerPoint, and enterprise logistics systems (Cello, TMS, WMS, ERP).\nCost & Contract Acumen: Strong understanding of warehousing cost drivers,\nequipment leasing/purchasing, labor rates, and commercial contract structures\n(MSAs, SLAs, rate exhibits).\nCommunication & Synthesis: Proven ability to translate complex data into clear\nleadership presentations and manage multi-stakeholder cross-functional projects.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience working with large-scale distribution networks or multiple DCs.\nPrior exposure to MHE leasing/purchasing, pallet pooling agreements, or temporary staffing\nprocurement.\nFamiliarity with Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, or similar methodologies.\nKnowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in warehouse logistics.\nPay Range: $28.50/hour to $34/hour\nBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k)\nretirement plan; paid sick leave; life, accidental death & dismemberment\n(AD&D), and long-term disability (LTD) insurance; and optional voluntary\nlife/AD&D coverage.
