You will identify opportunities, influence decisions, and help drive category performance.\nIdeal candidates will bring fresh perspectives, with no background in category management required.\nWhat You’ll Be Responsible For\nCreating and developing a long-term plan and ongoing strategy for development of the category\n\nManage, analyze, and monitor market changes in product mix and retail prices to ensure compliance to the category pricing strategy\n\nAnalyze category performance including sales, margin, pricing, and assortment\n\nIdentify opportunities through SKU performance, pricing analysis, and promotional effectiveness\n\nBuild and maintain category performance dashboards and reporting\n\nConduct competitive analysis and market monitoring\n\nSupport SKU rationalization and assortment planning\n\nTurn data into clear insights and recommendations\n\nProject management which will include developing project plans, processes, and timeline\n\nPartner with IT and data teams to understand enterprise reporting and data flows\n\nDevelop key supplier relationships for category management initiatives\n\nWho This Role Is For\nThis role is for high judgment, high output analysts who:\nThink clearly with imperfect data\n\nCan identify meaningful insights inside large datasets\n\nCommunicate conclusions simply and clearly\n\nCare about improving outcomes, not just building reports\n\nExpertise is only as valuable as your willingness to evolve. We prioritize candidates who are agile learners and eager to challenge their own assumptions to find better ways.
