Also responsible for the efficient movement of product through the plant with a focus on quality and timeliness.\n3rd Shift Schedule: This position works a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, Monday through Thursday.\nHours: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nTasks related to this position may vary and are not limited to those listed below:\nFollows and enforces established safety rules, ISO standards policies and procedures at all times\nDirects supervision of production staff including recruiting, selecting, training and developing associates through coaching and disciplinary actions\nUses a Customer Driven approach to achieve KPI targets and engage associates in the improvement process (i.e. production quality, output, processes and efficiencies)\nLeads work teams focused on continuous improvement in safety, productivity, waste and quality improvement\nMaintains timekeeping and personnel records for all direct reports\nMaintains efficient workflows by monitoring processes and variables; implements cost reductions; develops reporting procedures and systems\nCompletes production plan by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising production schedules, resolving problems and reporting results or issues\nEnsures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; assists in troubleshooting machine issues \nProvides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests\nCreates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, budgetary and personnel requirements\nMaintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing associates on the use of all equipment and safety protocols\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications\nAssists with hands-on operation of machines, including operating and feeding large press machines that requires a full awareness of surroundings, machine pinch points and safety protocols\nOperate forklift, as needed, in tight spaces with human traffic \nOther duties as assigned\nFull-time role in a manufacturing plant/warehouse setting. \nSkill Set:\nProficient in lean methods\nProficient in Amtech job costing module\nProficient in Amtech RPM module\nStrong communication skills and mentoring skills\nQualifications Desired:\nHigh school diploma / GED\nExperience in the corrugated packaging industry highly preferred\nCertified forklift operator\nWorking knowledge of all production machines, plant equipment and operations\nResults-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment\nDemonstrates aptitude for problem-solving;
