dock appointments with customers as needed\nCompile a daily performance report and distribute\nContact and schedule outside carriers as required\nAssist in warehouse as needed\nRespot trailers as needed\nReconcile daily shipping log\nEnsure prompt, accurate loading and shipping of finished product for customers\nMonitor all job functions to match quality and safety policies\nEnsure prompt and accurate execution of all job functions\nEnsure all projects completed timely and accurately\nWork from written and verbal directions\nMaintain neat and orderly work area\nFull-time role in a manufacturing plant/warehouse setting\nFollow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times\nParticipate in the physical verification of inventory when discrepancies are present\n\nPerform all duties from a foundation of trust and the highest ethical conduct, follow established safety rules, company policies and procedures\nDesired Skills & Qualifications:\n5 years of experience as a shipping supervisor or manager\nExperience in the corrugated packaging industry highly preferred\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nPrior shipping/receiving/inventory experience (preferred)\nExceptional organizational skills\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite\nAbility to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions\nExcellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well independently and with others at all levels of the organization\nDetail-oriented and takes pride in the accuracy of work
