is looking for an Intermediate Accountant \n\nWhat you’ll be doing\nThis position is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing for\nPrepare the General Ledger detail and supporting reconciliations.\nReconcile and maintain Capital Assets Accounts.\nPrepare monthly financial statements.\nWork with Line of Business owners to prepare annual budget.\nPrepare year end account reconciliation and reporting in preparation of year-end review by external auditors.\nPerform A/P and A/R duties as necessary.\nReview, assess, and communicate any process deficiencies and report to the managers the issue and possible solutions. \nWork with team members and other departments to develop and manage reporting requirements across the organization.\nPrepare monthly government filings.\nPrepare and review monthly CARM reporting.\nOther duties as required.\n\nWhat we need from you\nBachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent job experience.\nWorking towards an accounting designation.\n3+ years’ experience at a junior financial level, or equivalent.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word).\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience an asset.\nExcellent problem solving and decision-making skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work independently or as
