This role coordinates and audits documentation on entries, as assigned. This position will be assisting and maintaining the quality and accuracy of import entries. customs, internal documents and maintain customer’s product database.\nClassify and research tariffs and respond promptly to all queries.\nAct as liaison between CBP and operations to maintain service to all US accounts including client information, missing information requests, and reporting custom service needs. \nReport any problems or issues directly to their manager and communicate suggestions for operational improvement and assist in implementation of changes.\nAttend ongoing training to increase knowledge of new customs polices and/or regulations.\nOn-call responsibilities (evenings and weekends).\nAbove average written and verbal communication skills.\nShowcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.\nIdentify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution.\nFoster a fast paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.\nEffectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines.\nTo provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed.\n\nLeadership Responsibilities\nAbility to manage a group of 5 to 10 employees\nAssist with performance evaluations for direct reports \nAssign tasks to team members\nAssists with training and guidance of direct reports\nMonitor work volumes of direct reports \nSupervise team members, conduct team meetings, monitor attendance, and work schedules\n\nWhat we need from you\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nCertified Customs Specialist (CCS) Designation (must maintain yearly status).\nMinimum 3 years of experience in custom brokerage or logistics experience.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in quality control.\nIntermediate MS Office knowledge.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nMust be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.\nValid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in
