The IT Systems Analyst serves as the primary resource for the support, administration, and continuous improvement of the school's portfolio of software applications and technology systems. By ensuring that faculty, staff, and students have reliable, secure, and effective access to the tools they need, this role helps enable teaching, learning, and administrative success. The IT Systems Analyst ensures system reliability, resolves complex issues, manages upgrades and integrations, and evaluates new technology solutions that enhance business and academic operations.\nIn this role you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, vendors, developers and IT support teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, provide user training and support, and ensure systems comply with security, regulatory, and operational standards.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOversee the collection of client requirements and translating them into application features.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for system enhancements and new technology initiatives.\nPartner with IT infrastructure, security, and support teams to ensure applications comply with organizational standards and cybersecurity requirements. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex system and user issues. Manage and maintain integrations between applications, data warehouse platforms, and cloud systems via APIs and integration tools.\nManage and maintain connections between applications, data warehouse platforms, and cloud systems via APIs and integration tools.\nCreate and maintain detailed documentation, including installation guides, configuration settings, troubleshooting steps, and support system reference documentation.\nSupport staff and faculty with issue resolution, training, and functional guidance on legal-specific tools.\nCoordinate with vendors for patch delivery, issue troubleshooting, and application roadmap discussions.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree, or associate’s degree with relevant experience\n2-3 years of experience supporting enterprise software in a Microsoft Windows environment.\nStudent Information System (SIS) experience required.\nAdvanced understanding of how enterprise applications operate in Microsoft environments, including infrastructure dependencies, access controls, and upgrade/patching processes.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience providing direct end-user support, including troubleshooting application issues, responding to service requests, resolving technical problems, and delivering exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, and students.\nExperience with software patching, issue resolution, supporting student applications, lifecycle support, and system updates.\nKnowledge of system integration methods (API use, file-based transfer, basic scripting).\nWorkday Platform and Student system experience preferred.\nExcellent documentation skills, attention to detail, and strong time management abilities.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience in a K-12, higher education, or nonprofit environment.\nWorkday Platform and Student system experience.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity best practices, data privacy regulations, and IT governance standards\nSALARY RANGE $55,660 - $67,000 (commensurate with experience)\nBENEFITS\nBucks County Community College offers an exceptional benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription plans, 403B pension plan, life insurance, short & long-term disability, generous paid time off, tuition waivers, tuition assistance, wellness center, cafeteria, and free parking on a beautiful Bucks County campus.\nBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES\nEmployment with the College will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with College's policies.\nAPPLICATION\nApply online at: https://bucks.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/BCCC\nApplications must consist of a letter of application addressing this specific position and the candidate’s interest and qualifications for coming to Bucks County Community College, resume/CV, and professional references.
