The main focus will be managing the college's Industrial Skills training programs. The Program Manager will develop and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including students, instructors, business partners, and community partners. Responsibilities will include student recruitment, case management, job development and placement, and representing the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) at promotional/community events.\nIn addition, the Program Manager will assist with grant management and reporting while ensuring grant benchmarks and program outcomes are met. This position is grant funded and in-person, based out of the Center for Advanced Technologies in Bristol, PA. This position functions in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to shift planned work assignments and reorganize efforts to accomplish the needs of the department and leadership. It may involve work outside the traditional workday. The position requires an ability to multi-task, prioritize a high volume of work, meet frequent deadlines, and support leadership staff with sometimes conflicting needs and schedules.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nManage the implementation of Industrial Maintenance and Metalwork training programs, including developing recruitment and outreach campaigns (including social media), coordinating program activities in close collaboration with instructors, and ensuring programs have the necessary materials and equipment.\n\nConduct student recruitment, outreach, and case management activities.\n\nDevelop employer partnerships and coordinate job development and placement activities.\n\nAssist with grant management, including budget tracking, reporting, and monitoring program outcomes.\n\nPromote Center for Workforce Development (CWD) programs at schools, community organizations, and public events.\n\nServe as a liaison with PA CareerLink® and other workforce and support service providers.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience in workforce development, recruitment, job placement, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage projects and work with budgets.\n\nStrong attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and data management systems.\n\nComfortable with public speaking and an understanding of the relationship between workforce training programs and economic development, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAbility to travel to training sites and event locations within and outside of Bucks County.\n\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS\nThe Program Manager will respond to student issues on a regular basis and be expected to think entrepreneurially when addressing recruitment challenges. Many situations will be unforeseen and require prompt, effective resolution.
