enterprise architecture standards and long-term business objectives.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nSolution Architecture and Design: \nOwn end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture, from requirements discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and production support.\nTranslate business requirements into scalable Salesforce architectures, technical designs, data models, integration patterns, and implementation roadmaps.\nEvaluate standard Salesforce capabilities, configuration, declarative automation, custom development, and external services to recommend the most appropriate solution.\nDefine architectural standards, reusable components, coding guidelines, design patterns, and technical best practices.\nAssess the impact of proposed changes on existing applications, integrations, business processes, and future enhancements.\nIdentify technical risks, scalability constraints, platform limitations, and opportunities for simplification.\n\nHands-on Salesforce Development: \nWrite, review, debug, and optimize Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and other Salesforce customizations when required.\nDevelop proofs-of-concept and technical prototypes to validate architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.\nDemonstrate strong understanding of Apex triggers, asynchronous processing, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, platform events, transaction management, and governor limits.\nEnsure code follows bulkification, security, exception-handling, testability, and performance best practices.\nReview complex implementations and guide developers in resolving technical issues.\nParticipate directly in critical development activities, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization when necessary.\n\nSalesforce Data Modeling and Governance: \nDesign scalable Salesforce data models using standard and custom objects, appropriate relationships, and well-defined ownership and sharing strategies.\nDefine data mastership, external identifiers, deduplication, matching, data migration, and reconciliation approaches.\nDesign data models that support global customer identities, B2B relationships, B2C customer journeys, and country-specific business requirements.\nEnsure appropriate data access, privacy, auditability, and regulatory considerations are incorporated into the architecture.\n\nIntegration Architecture: \nDesign and govern integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as SAP, customer portals, identity providers, middleware, and marketing platforms.\nDefine suitable integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and middleware where appropriate.\nAddress authentication, authorization, idempotency, retries, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and integration resilience.\nCollaborate with enterprise integration and platform teams to manage dependencies, API contracts, release sequencing, and system-wide changes.\n\nGlobal Platform and Release Governance: \nSupport a global Salesforce platform operating across multiple countries and business markets.\nBalance global architecture standards with legitimate local business and regulatory requirements.\nEvaluate the impact of changes across countries, applications, integrations, and downstream systems before approving designs.\nCoordinate with business stakeholders, development teams, QA, DevOps, security, and platform teams to ensure controlled delivery.\nContribute to release planning, technical risk assessments, environment strategy, deployment readiness, and production stability.\nPrevent unnecessary customization and architectural fragmentation across markets.\n\nTechnical Leadership and Team Enablement: \nProvide technical direction and architectural guidance to Salesforce developers, technical leads, QA engineers, and integration teams.\nConduct architecture reviews, code reviews, design walkthroughs, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.\nEstablish development standards and reusable patterns that improve code quality, maintainability, and developer productivity.\nMentor team members and support technical decision-making across distributed teams.\nCommunicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.\n\nPlatform Evolution and Continuous Improvement: \nEvaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend adoption based on business value, technical fit, and platform strategy.\nIdentify opportunities to improve performance, reduce technical debt, simplify integrations, and optimize delivery costs.\nContribute to Salesforce platform roadmaps and long-term architecture decisions.\nSupport production incident analysis and implement sustainable solutions that prevent recurring issues.\n\nRequirements: \nTypically 10+ years of Salesforce or relevant enterprise CRM experience.\nDemonstrated experience owning solution architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.\nProven experience leading technical teams and collaborating across business and technology functions.\nSalesforce Application Architect certification is preferred; System Architect or relevant advanced certifications are an advantage.\nStrong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.\n\nRequired Technical Skills: \nStrong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.\nHands-on experience with Apex, Triggers, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce security, and declarative automation.\nStrong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, sharing and visibility, governor limits, transaction boundaries, and platform architecture.\nExperience designing enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and asynchronous or event-driven patterns.\nUnderstanding of integration resilience, error handling, monitoring, data reconciliation, and API security.\nExperience with Salesforce deployments, source control, CI/CD, and release management.\nFamiliarity with enterprise identity and access management, SSO, OAuth, and external identity solutions.\nAbility to diagnose complex technical issues and validate architectural decisions through working code or prototypes.\n\nPreferred Experience: \nExperience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer engagement integrations.\nExposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and/or Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud.\nExperience with SAP or other ERP integrations.\nExperience with middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Informatica, or equivalent technologies.\nExperience with multi-country Salesforce implementations and global platform governance.\nExperience with Experience Cloud portals, external users, customer identity, and large-scale customer data management.\nFamiliarity with consent management, customer data privacy, and
