Prepare AutoCAD layout sketches, detail drawings and flow sheets and site visits where necessary.\nLiaise internally, with customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements & to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose.\nPrepare Handover Protocol Meetings of projects to Engineering.\nDetermines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.\nEnsuring all procedures and calculations are submitted to the client for review and approval.\nDetermines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.\nMaintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.\nControls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.\nMaintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. i.e. method statements & risk assessments.\nAgree deviations from standard commercial terms and conditions with the Commercial and Project Manager.\nAssisting colleagues in the department with quotations & project related works.\nYour profile\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or minimum qualification in the above subjects at HND level.\nDemonstrable experience in machine layout drafting (2D/3D) in AutoCAD.\nExperience preparing a process flow diagram and installation drawing, building indication drawings from layout.\nProficiency in computer-aided design (CAD)\nAbility to interpret and create detailed engineering drawing.\nWorked on detailed mechanical design of plant system(s) such as pneumatic conveying, aspiration diagram from defined client specification, this will include creating an isometric diagram of pneumatic scheme and creating an associated documentation including BOM and installation drawings.\nKnowledge of universal drafting standards.\nAttention to detail and accuracy in drawings.\nExperience in 3D modelling software.\nPro-active, customer focused with strong communication skills.\nFlexible approach with good self organisation skills and ability to prioritise.\nReliable and self-checking work and excellent numerical capabilities\nDesirable\nDriving license\n- Base salary: up to £40,000 (depending on skills and experience)\n- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 1 celebration day\n- Annual company bonus\n- Life Insurance: 3x basic salary\n- Aegon Pension Plan\n- Canteen offering a variety of lunch options\n- Cycle to Work Scheme\n- Bupa Health and Dental Cash Plan\n- Benenden Health\n- Employee perks and discounts (Telus)\n- Give as you Earn\n- Barnardo's Workplace Lottery\n- Regular social, sports, leisure and wellbeing events in a diverse and inclusive workplace\nAbout us\nTwo billion people eat food every day that was produced with Bühler equipment.
