Responsible assisting the Executive Housekeeper with the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas.\nMaintains cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.\nRecords inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies.\nTrains or re-trains staff on proper housekeeping procedures when needed.\nIn absence of Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping department supervision.\nSupervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations’ policies and applicable laws.\nSupervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems\nCleans rooms and public areas as assigned by Executive Housekeeper.\nWorking typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.\nWhat You Bring:\nPrevious experience in a hotel setting or open to training.\nOne year previous housekeeping experience is a plus.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAble to work alone or as part of a team.\nAbility to work on feet for extended periods.\nCan navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.\nAnd most importantly an engaging personality.\nWhat We Offer You:\nAt Buffalo Lodging, we are committed to keeping our most important assets - our associates- healthy, happy and productive.
