You'll take ownership of daily maintenance schedules, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and play a key role in trial execution. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy problem-solving to keep systems efficient, this is your opportunity to make an impact.\nYour tasks\nThis position is responsible for supervising and performing maintenance responsibilities including predictive maintenance, equipment repair and rebuild, electrical, and maintenance training programs.\nResponsible for applications center maintenance including utilities, and operations to reduce downtime and assure successful execution of trials. \nTroubleshooting equipment, mechanically or electrically, must be able to read electrical diagrams.\nMaintain a schedule and update maintenance schedule in the Food Application Center.\nWill partner with engineering team to do proper process upgrades and continuous improvement.\nWork with 3rd party vendors to assure all inspections are up to date.\nSupport Food Safety and 5S activities.\nSetting up, commissioning, aligning, and preparing trials in our facility.\nSupport on smooth running of trials, both internal and external to support our customers in their new projects.\nParticipates in continual learning activities and applies practical application to work performed.\nParticipates in all aspects of customer trials including milling and extrusion.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nYour profile\nTechnical diploma or related degree in mechatronics or related field.\n5+ years of maintenance or field service experience ideally in the food industry.\nMicrosoft Office experience required.\nSAP experience is ideal.\nExperience working with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley.\nAble to work collaboratively with a team in order to achieve a common goal.\nUtilizes effective approaches for choosing a course of action for developing appropriate solutions.\nSets clear goals and functions effectively under critical and tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and other pressures.\nPresents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner.\nSpeaks and understands English fluently.\nDomestic and international travel 15% of time which may include long hours and non-traditional work schedules.\nThe wage range for this position in $34.00 - $41.00 per hour.\nAbout us\nTwo billion people eat food every day that was produced with Bühler equipment.
