Field Service Engineer - Die Casting

Join an international service team responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and modernizing advanced die-casting equipment. This role combines hands-on technical work, customer interaction, problem-solving, and extensive travel across Central and Eastern Europe.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Commissioning die-casting machines and peripheral equipment at customer sites.
• Performing maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and service interventions.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site customer support.
• Taking responsibility for the complete commissioning process from installation to customer handover.
• Analyzing production processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Training customers in the operation and basic maintenance of Bühler equipment.
• Supporting the sales team with technical expertise and customer projects.
• Travelling extensively across Central and Eastern Europe, with occasional assignments worldwide.

What should you already know/have?

• Technical education in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing industrial machinery is an advantage.
• Ability to solve technical issues independently in a customer-facing environment.
• Valid Category B driving license.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% of working time).
• Strong communication skills and a professional customer-focused approach.
• Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English and Czech or Slovak
