The product configurations you develop will enable quotation engineers to efficiently generate thousands of accurate quotations worldwide.\nWe are looking for a Technical Configurator Specialist who will use their automation or electrical engineering expertise to ensure our configurators remain accurate, efficient, and up to date.\nYour responsibilities\nDesign and development - Create and maintain product configurators for automation systems and electrical equipment, including plant control systems, digital services, motors, control cabinets, and electrical installations.\nInnovation and continuous improvement - Develop state-of-the-art configurators for new products while continuously improving the quality and efficiency of existing solutions.\nCross-functional collaboration - Work closely with Product Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quotation Engineering teams to translate technical requirements into reliable configurations.\nTraining and knowledge sharing - Train relevant teams on new and updated configurators and provide data evaluations and technical guidance.\nExpert support - Act as a Super User and support teams in resolving complex configuration-related questions when needed.\nWhat you bring\nA technical education at secondary or university level in industrial automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.\nAt least two years of professional experience in industrial automation, electrical design, or another relevant engineering discipline.\nA strong interest in transforming technical knowledge into structured, scalable configuration solutions.\nFluent English; German is an advantage.\nThe ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.\nA customer-focused mindset and sound judgment and decision-making abilities.\nKnowledge of SQL is an advantage.\nExperience building product configurators is a plus.\nGrow with us!\nYou do not need to meet every requirement from day one.
