This position will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, and control activities within a specific business unit or function.\nResponsibilities\nAssist the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.\n\nProvide financial business partnering to functional leaders, offering insights and recommendations to drive performance and achieve financial targets.\n\nManage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.\n\nConduct variance analysis, identifying key drivers and proposing corrective actions.\n\nOversee and optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.\n\nSupport strategic initiatives, including business case development, M&A due diligence, and integration activities.\n\nEnsure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.\n\nPrepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.\n\n Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles or finance roles only including experience communicating complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.\n\nStrong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.\n\nProficient Excel skills, and financial modeling experience\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nStrong ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMBA or CPA\nExperience using SAP, Hyperion, and/or Power BI\nExperience in a product vs. service industry strongly preferred\nMedical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
