It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nMonitor team members to ensure compliance with manufacturing documentation and assist with updates to Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).\nDirect and coordinate daily activities for the assigned work team to meet production goals.\nFacilitate and support training for associates within designated work areas.\nEnsure process documentation is accurate, complete, and properly handed off between shifts.\nManage attendance reporting, scheduling, and resource allocation.\nCollaborate with Production Leads and associates across shifts to share best practices, drive standardization, and ensure seamless shift transitions.\nRespond to production issues by leading root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and escalating concerns as needed.\nCoordinate and support equipment upgrades, standardization efforts, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.\nProvide guidance to Cutting Associates on proper procedures, methodologies, and operational best practices.\nVerify machines are configured and operating according to established specifications.\nSupport employee development by responding to training needs and department requests.\nProactively identify and address potential problems before they impact production.\nProvide input on performance evaluations and performance improvement plans.\nChampion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and ensure consistent implementation of process changes.\nLearn and qualify on cutting machine operations and in-process inspections to provide coverage during absences and breaks when necessary.\nPerform additional duties as required to support business needs.\nAdditional Expectations\nEnsure manufactured products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.\nMeet or exceed operational objectives related to safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost.\nSupervision\nThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibility for associates.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Education\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum Experience\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment, preferably within the medical device industry.\nPrevious Cutting Operator experience preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nCore Competencies\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nLean Manufacturing principles\nProcess pre-control methodologies\nForklift operation\nAdvanced Competencies\nMechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills\nLeadership and team guidance\nAbility to systematically analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues\nWorking knowledge of quality control specifications, blueprints, GMP requirements, and operating manuals related to production processes\n\nPhysical Demands\nPhysical Capacity Profile: Level 4\nWork Environme nt\nManufacturing environment; site-specific requirements apply.\nWhy Join Us?\nTo find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
