It takes the imagination and passion of all of us-from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year-to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nJob Description\n***MUST HAVE RESUME***\nD Shift / 6:00PM-6:00AM\nJG2\nPCP2\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nGenerate and update Quality Notifications and initiate risk assessments and root cause investigations\nEstablish product containment regarding non-conforming material.\nApply and interpret ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and other sampling plans, monitor reinspection and perform statistical sampling as required\nPerform statistical data analysis (Excel, Minitab)\nProvide CAPA Support\nProficient with software systems (SAP, Trackwise, Prolink, etc.)\nSupport product complaint investigations and corrective actions.\nProvide guidance and input to manufacturing and management for quality issues.\nContribute with continuous improvement activities (i.e. Kaizens, Blitzes, Validations, etc.) and conduct machine and process capability studies on equipment.\nTrend quality metrics and investigate specific problem areas in manufacturing and report findings or corrective actions as required.\nConduct proper filing of documentation and react to urgent matters responsibly.\nMust be familiar with specifications and documentation associated with operations.\nComply with plant cGMP and department protective clothing, safety, and management policies.\nMust be familiar with the quality policy and procedures.\nAssist and support manufacturing unit team and plant needs and goals.\nCommunicate daily with prior and post shift Quality Control Representatives.\nSupport internal and external audits.\nAble to work accurately with limited supervision. Has a concern for timeliness. Accepts responsibilities and can communicate effectively with all levels of management and production staff.\nReport out of control conditions and assist in analysis of those for operations.\nAssist in training manufacturing personnel relative to inspection techniques and documentation of inspection results. \nConduct routine flash audits as directed to ensure compliance to the quality system.\nReview inspection techniques and documentation of results performed by manufacturing personnel.\nOther duties as required to support the needs of the business\nEducation:\nRequired: HSD/GED\nPreferred: Associates Degree - Quality Assurance/ related field\nExperience:\n3-5 years manufacturing experience required, or associate’s degree in quality assurance or related field.\nQuality System knowledge and/or experience preferred.\nUse of measurement devices and quality records preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProficient KSA:\nComputer skills\nAttention to detail\nProblem solving skills\nInterpersonal skills\nCommunication skills\nTime management skills\nAble to work with minimal direction\nInspection skills\nSAP\nBlueprint reading skills\nMath and metric conversion abilities\nAdvanced KSA:\nOrganizational skills\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
