As an Inventory Control Specialist III, you will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating vendor purchases, resolving discrepancies, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time.\nIn this role, you'll serve as a subject matter resource for inventory management processes, collaborate with internal departments and vendors, and help drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.\nWhat You'll Do\nMonitor inventory levels and analyze replenishment needs to maintain optimal stock levels.\nGenerate and manage purchase orders in accordance with inventory planning and replenishment guidelines.\nInvestigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.\nProcess special orders and verify product pricing and cost accuracy.\nReview inventory and purchasing reports to identify trends, opportunities, and inventory requirements.\nPartner with vendors to place purchase orders that support forecasted demand, promotions, and strategic purchasing opportunities.\nEnsure all purchase order costs, pricing, and related information are accurate and properly documented.\nCollaborate with Marketing, Pricing, Inventory Control, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, system issues, and cost-related concerns.\nProvide product, inventory, and freight-related information and support to internal teams and customers.\nManage vendor returns for defective merchandise and ensure timely receipt of credits.\nServe as a resource for team members by providing training, mentorship, and guidance on inventory processes and best practices.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory performance and operational effectiveness.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of three (3) years of inventory control, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.\nExperience working with inventory management systems, purchasing processes, and vendor relationships.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.\nExperience training or mentoring team members is a plus.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll be part of a collaborative team where your expertise directly impacts inventory performance, customer satisfaction, and business success.
