This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring that SAP Fiori applications, dashboards, and analytical solutions effectively support business processes and decision-making.\n\nThe analyst will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing business requirements, managing a functional backlog, configuring and optimizing SAP Fiori solutions, supporting SAP Analytics Cloud reporting, and partnering with our dedicated ABAP development team to deliver high-quality solutions. This position plays a critical role in driving user adoption, ensuring solution quality, and enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nBusiness Partnership & Requirements Gathering\nPartner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand operational processes, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable development stories.\nEvaluate standard SAP Fiori applications and recommend solutions that align with business objectives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and user experience across SAP S/4HANA processes.\nSAP Fiori Functional Ownership\nConfigure and maintain SAP Fiori Launchpad roles, catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and navigation structures.\nSupport implementation and optimization of standard and custom SAP Fiori applications.\nCollaborate with security and technical teams to ensure proper authorization and user access.\nValidate application functionality and ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA business processes.\nSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & Reporting\nGather requirements for operational, financial, and executive reporting solutions.\nPartner with business teams to design and optimize SAC dashboards, reports, and analytics.\nEvaluate existing reporting solutions and recommend enhancements that improve usability and business value.\nSupport the development of new reporting capabilities aligned with organizational priorities.\nProject Delivery & Backlog Management\nOwn and manage a prioritized backlog of SAP Fiori and SAC enhancement requests.\nWork closely with the ABAP development team to define scope, clarify requirements, and support timely delivery.\nCreate and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and acceptance criteria.\nCoordinate testing efforts and manage solution readiness throughout the project lifecycle.\nTrack project status, risks, dependencies, and key milestones.\nTesting, Training & Change Management\nDevelop and execute unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nValidate report outputs, business calculations, and application functionality.\nTroubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.\nDevelop training materials, process documentation, and user guides.\nStakeholder & Leadership Communication\nProvide regular updates to business stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.\nCommunicate project progress, priorities, risks, and delivery timelines.\nBuild strong relationships across business and technology teams.\nAdvocate for business priorities while maintaining alignment with enterprise strategy.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of SAP functional analyst experience supporting SAP business processes.\nHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.\nDemonstrated experience and understanding of Order to Cash, Supply Chain, and/or Record to Report\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end business processes within SAP environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards, reporting, and analytics.\nExperience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.\nExperience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.\nExperience leading or participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).\nStrong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nKnowledge of SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori architecture.\nFamiliarity with SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations.\nBasic understanding of ABAP debugging and technical development processes.\nExperience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, construction, distribution, or building products industries.\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nDrive continuous improvement of the Fiori user experience and adoption across the enterprise.\nServe as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.\nDrive adoption and optimization of SAP Fiori and SAC solutions.\nMaintain a clear, prioritized backlog aligned with business value.\nDeliver high-quality solutions through strong collaboration with ABAP developers.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time and meet business expectations.\nCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.\nContribute to the successful rollout and long-term optimization of SAP S/4HANA across Builders FirstSource.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
