In connection with this initiative, BFS will harmonize our core operations on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.\n\nThe Senior Business Analyst of SAP Financials should be a subject matter expert for Record to Report (RTR) with a concentration on the Accounts Receivables (AR) and Serrala (Cash Application) sub workstream. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to address and ensure quality solutions ultimately influencing individuals within and outside the IT department and making a significant impact on our business.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, testing and control of the financial systems and applications. While the focus is on AR and Serrala, responsibilities could involve other areas of RTR including the following: Accounts Payable, Treasury, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Tax (Vertex), Portfolio & Project Management (PPM), and Project Systems. \n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalysis of SAP Financial processes, including configuration, integration, customization, master data, and reporting with an emphasis on SAP S/4HANA Accounts Receivable and Serrala (Cash Application).\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to the SAP Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.\nConfigure and support the SAP AR module, including setting up customer master data, invoicing, payment processing, dunning, credit management, and reporting.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline AR processes within SAP to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.\nWork on SAP AR system enhancements and automation, including the integration of third-party tools or external systems for better payment processing.\nLiaise with external vendors, when necessary, to ensure the smooth flow of AR data and payment processing.\nPerform business process analysis and translate business requirements into workable SAP solutions and/or functional designs for specific projects and changes, including development.\nWrite functional analyses for SAP financial programs. Develop and execute functional (integration) test scripts.\nWork closely with process teams to facilitate project progress and ensure integrated system solutions.\nCollaborate with other cross functional leaders on business-driven IT initiatives, including enhancements and technical upgrades.\nProvide implementation support, preparing the business for system solutions.\nDemonstrate the ability to solve problems that allow for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.\nApply design thinking and/or process redesign principles to develop innovative solutions that enhance the end-user experience across financial solutions, incorporating user feedback and insights to ensure a user-centered approach.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \nBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting related field.\n7-9 years of experience of overseeing configuration of SAP Financials \nMultiple full-life cycle SAP implementations (ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA)\nStrong experience with designing, configuring and supporting the following RTR areas within SAP is a must\nAccounts Receivable (In-depth knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA Accounts Receivable module, including invoicing, credit management, payment processing, collections and integration with other financial modules.\nSerrala – Cash Application (configuring, maintaining, and enhancing the system, ensuring smooth document management workflows, and delivering best practices for Serrala cash application implementations.)\nKnowledge of integration with SAP Sales and Distribution module (for Billing and Revenue recognition) is a must\nProficiency in creating queries or reports for AR related reporting\nStrong experience with IDoc processing and working knowledge of BAPI’s & BADI’s\nExperience with Project Systems configuration will be a plus\nOr equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nCOMPETENCIES\nSubject matter expert in SAP Financials including FI (Finance) and Serrala (Cash Application)\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills \nStrong self-starter and self-directed worker\nExcellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.\nEstablished strategic and critical analysis skills. \nSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.\n\n WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
