We care about shipping quality work quickly, and our team works hands-on with live products every day.\nAbout the Role\nYou will work directly with the founder and a team lead on Buildify's internal tools and core products, and help take those products from build to launch. You will also work on live client projects, which gives you all-round experience across development, testing and automation. This is a technical, hands-on role. It is not a research or marketing role.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain internal tools and Buildify's core software products\nDevelop features using JavaScript, React and Next.js, with Supabase/PostgreSQL for data\nIntegrate AI systems and APIs into products and internal workflows\nBuild automations that save time for the team and for clients\nContribute to live client projects across ERP, POS, LMS, e-commerce and websites\nTest features, report bugs and fix issues before release\nTake part in sprint planning, code reviews and product launches\nDocument what you build so the team can use and extend it\nRequirements\nGood knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and Git\nGood knowledge of new-age AI systems, including LLM APIs and how AI features fit into products\nBasic understanding of software development concepts and agile workflows\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and learn independently\nPursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field\nAble to work on-site in Chennai and commit 15-20 hours per week\nGood to have\nProjects of your own, such as deployed apps or AI-based tools\nExperience with Next.js, Supabase or Node.js\nPrior AI experience is a plus but not required\nWhat you will gain\nHands-on experience building and launching real software
