Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Product Engineer to develop and maintain cloud-based healthcare software products. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development skills, experience building REST APIs and microservices, and the ability to work across different layers of an application.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and UI components.
Build scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices-based solutions.
Work with databases, middleware, and cloud technologies.
Participate in application testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to solve technical problems and deliver product enhancements.
Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
3+ years of software development experience in cloud-based products or applications.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
Knowledge of middleware technologies such as application servers, message brokers, ESB, BPMS, or BRMS.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Mesos.
Familiarity with Git, version control, and Agile development practices.
Understanding of CI/CD and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Good to Have
Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools.
Experience working in small, collaborative product engineering teams.
Exposure to frontend development and multiple layers of the software stack.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates should be hands-on developers who can build, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications while collaborating effectively with the engineering team.
