Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Engineer to join a fast-paced product engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise with Java technologies, hands-on experience in cloud-native application development, and a passion for building scalable and high-performance software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Develop cloud-native applications and services deployed on AWS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development and optimization.
Implement containerization using Docker and related technologies.
Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning and execution.
Maintain code quality through version control, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across application components.
Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
Hands-on experience in REST API development.
Good understanding of Microservices architecture.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Exposure to AWS Cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases.
Exposure to Application Servers, Message Brokers, and Caching technologies.
Experience developing cloud-based SaaS products.
Knowledge of healthcare technology platforms is an added advantage.
Eligibility / Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
