By bringing together diverse skills, perspectives, and a shared commitment to our customers, we foster a culture where innovation and continuous improvement drive meaningful results.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nWe are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representativeto provide timely and accurate assistance to customers with a variety of needs relating to customer orders, aquariums, reef systems, fish, products warranties and the brands we service.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide support for customers utilizing an in-bound and outbound telephone system, email, fax, live chat, walk-in and will-call\n\nAnswer questions from customers on various aspects of our products, brands, aquariums, reverse osmosis, reef systems or other related questions.\n\nAssist customers with processing their orders, returns, and refunds.\n\nSupport customers technical product questions in a timely manner.\n\nRespond to customer concerns by recommending the best course of action according to established department policies and procedures\n\nParticipate in continuous education in the saltwater and freshwater aquarium industry to include time spent in product research and testing\n\nParticipate in team development of quarterly and annual project-based goals and perform self-directed activities to support completion of goals.\n\nWhat we require in education, experience and skills:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of one year of telephone customer service, retail or other related experience\n\nPrevious experience with saltwater reef systems\n\nFamiliarity with BRS, Neptune Systems and or Ecotech Marine products.\n\nFamiliarity with reverse osmosis and reverse osmosis/de-ionization systems utilized in the saltwater aquarium industry\n\nDemonstrated understanding of water elements and their function within the reef aquarium\n\nDemonstrated working knowledge of equipment utilized in the saltwater aquarium industry\n\nAbility to learn working and advanced knowledge of our brand products.\n\nStrong customer service orientation and commitment to company core values\n\nOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to concentrate on details with interruptions\n\nThrive in a self-directed, motivated, entrepreneurial environment\n\nMust be willing to work a variety of hours, including Monday-Friday 7 am CST- 9 pm CST\n\nBenefits\nAperture is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
