Will require to get certified asap if not already certified.\nPurpose of the Position:\nThe purpose of this position is to be responsible for performing mechanical work to repair, maintain, and rebuild gasoline and alternative fueled automotive equipment.\nSupervisory/Leadership Responsibilities:\nProvide training and lead worker support through motivation, direction, review, and feedback of assigned tasks.\nMinimum Education, Training and/or Experience (required at time of hire): High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in the repair of gasoline and alternatively fueled automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 18 years of age or older.\nAdditional Training and Experience: Completion of Safety Training post hire.\nLicense or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license; North Carolina Inspection License; May require current certification by the EPA as a Type I, II, III or Universal technicians as required by 40 CFR part 82, subpart F.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe work is primarily heavy work requiring exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
