This individual will report to the Solid Waste Manager, who has a team of 9 employees. The primary goal of the Solid Waste Assistant Manager position is to provide managerial and operational leadership, technical management, and strategic oversight for countywide solid waste facilities and environmental compliance programs and serves as the assistant to the Solid Waste Manager. This position is in-person, overtime will be allowed depending on operational needs of the department. The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
