That’s why over the course of the placement, you’ll complete a rotation in one of our actuarial functions, which may include:\nPricing \nReserving \nRegulatory Reporting \nClaims Analytics \nGroup Actuarial \nNo two days are the same during the 12-month placement. You’ll face a well-balanced mix of challenges, mutual support, and accelerated skills development through our development programme. You’ll also shadow senior colleagues to gain valuable insight and enhance your network.\nAt the end of a successful placement, there is the potential to be fast-tracked for a place on our graduate scheme.\nWhat we’re looking for\nQualifications and Training\nMust have the right to work in the UK \nCurrent undergraduate student in your penultimate year of your degree \nNumerical based degree, such as (but not limited to) Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Economics \nBe on track to achieve at least a 2.1 in your degree \nHave achieved an ABB at A- Level or equivalent, with a minimum grade in A -Level in Maths (or equivalent) \nSkills and Knowledge\nCurious and inquisitive, challenging the status quo, flexible, adaptable, and tenacious and resilient \nAn interest in developing deep analysis of large data sets by leveraging tools such as AI and coding \nEffective self-organisation and ability to plan ahead, to complete tasks to deadlines \nPositive, can-do attitude, pro-active and take the initiative \nGood problem-solving and analytical skills \nTeam player, able to work collaboratively with others and influence \nStrong self-awareness with a drive and commitment to own development \nAble to take a commercial approach \nExcellent written and interpersonal communication skills \nWhat else we offer you\nWe specialise in wellbeing.
