The home is set in stunning, well-maintained gardens and is also situated within walking distance of the main high street of Great Dunmow, which is ideal for residents to get out and about.\nAt Croft House, staff take great care to focus on the person. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so staff create a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.\nEnjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and they try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at Croft House, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.\nThere’s a real sense of community at Croft House. Our values of being Brave, Caring, and Responsible guide everything we do, and we strive to create the most inclusive and supportive workplace for our people.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.\nObserve and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.\nSupport residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.\nProvide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.\nMaintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.\nWhat we're looking for:\nMotivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nDesirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification\nWhy Bupa?\nWe’re a health insurer and provider.
