Care is provided to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease and also to the young physically disabled. Palliative care is also available.\nThe home consists of four separate houses each offering comfortable accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens complete with furnished patio areas, raised flower beds and two sensory gardens provide an ideal setting to relax or socialise. The home also offers a double room, ideal for couples.\nManor Court recognises the importance of healthy and nutritious food. The in-house chef has created a range of seasonal menus to ensure residents receive a balanced diet. Our values of being Brave, Caring, and Responsible guide everything we do, and we strive to create the most inclusive and supportive workplace for our people.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.\n\nObserve and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.\n\nSupport residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.\n\nProvide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.\n\nMaintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.\n\nWhat we're looking for:\nMotivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nDesirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.\n\nWhy Bupa?\nWe’re a health insurer and provider.
