The magnificent 17th century house is set in twelve acres of wheelchair friendly gardens, with an orangery and vegetable plot. The beautifully appointed rooms offer plenty of areas for residents to relax or socialise in. The home has a secure entry and exit system and a 24-hour call system so that residents feel safe and secure. All bedrooms have their own TV and telephone.\nSpecial diets are catered for and the home has magnificent, oak-panelled dining rooms. Our care homes are dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives.\nYou’ll help us make health happen by:\nUsing your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents\nUsing your natural leadership skills to train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience\nBeing innovative in your approach to cooking and maintaining high standards\nManaging all mandatory paperwork including: adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, managing orders and deliveries\nCatering for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and birthdays (as required)\nKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:\nA passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates. You want to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal and make our residents feel at home.
