By managing customer accounts effectively and supporting timely payments, we help ensure our healthcare services continue to run smoothly for the people who rely on them.\nAs a Credit Control Advisor, you'll be a key part of our Clinics Finance & Commercial team. You'll work closely with customers and colleagues to manage outstanding balances, resolve account queries and deliver a positive customer experience. You'll also play an important role in maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the financial health of the business.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service while developing their career in finance operations.\nHow you’ll help us make health happen\nAs our Credit Control Advisor, you'll:\nTake ownership of assigned customer accounts and support the collection of outstanding payments.\nBuild positive relationships with customers while helping them resolve account queries.\nInvestigate overdue balances and agree suitable payment arrangements where required.\nReconcile customer accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly and accurately.\nRespond to customer enquiries by phone, email and letter in a professional and timely manner.\nEnsure customer interactions are accurately recorded within relevant systems.\nSupport the delivery of individual and team performance targets.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and improve customer outcomes.\nHandle customer complaints in line with Bupa's processes and escalate concerns where appropriate.\nHelp maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement across the credit control function.\nKey Skills/Qualifications needed for this role\nPrevious experience in a credit control role is essential\nExperience working directly with customers and managing account queries.\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills.\nStrong numerical and analytical skills.\nGood understanding of finance systems and processes.\nThe ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.\nExcellent organisation and time management skills.\nThe ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines consistently.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nConfidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.\nA proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.\nThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.\nA customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.\nBenefits\nOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
