As a Data Product Owner, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering data products that drive insight-led decision making across our commercial, clinical, and operational teams.\nWorking closely with Data Business Partners, stakeholders, analysts, and engineers, you will define the vision, roadmap, and delivery of trusted data products that enable better business outcomes and enhance the experience of our customers and colleagues.\nHow you'll help us make health happen\nAs a Data Product Owner, you will:\nDefine and own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for data products across Commercial and Clinical & Operational domains.\nCollaborate with Data Business Partners and stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable data solutions.\nLead the end-to-end delivery of dashboards, reports, and data models alongside analysts and data engineers.\nEnsure data products are governed, documented, and aligned to data quality and compliance standards.\nMonitor product performance, adoption, and impact, driving continuous improvement through feedback and analytics.\nChampion user-centred design principles to create intuitive and valuable data products.\nManage and develop a small team of analysts, providing coaching and direction to support successful delivery.\nAct as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and timelines.\nSupport adoption and engagement through training, communication, and change management activities.\nKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role\nEssential:\nStrong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data lifecycle management.\nExperience defining product roadmaps, backlogs, and user stories.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.\nExperience leading, mentoring, or coaching team members.\nKnowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.\nDesirable:\nPrevious experience in Product Ownership or Product Management within Data, Analytics, or Business Intelligence environments.\nExperience within healthcare, clinical, or operational settings.\nFamiliarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.\nRelevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner, BCS Data Management, or equivalent.\nBenefits\nOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
