They also offer nursing care for people living with Parkinson's and Huntington's disease (depending on need).\nResidents have a choice of places to find company or quiet time - from the vintage café, comfortable lounges, to the lovingly tended gardens. With high ceilings, big rooms and sash windows, residents can enjoy ample light in a refreshing open environment.\nMany staff have been at St Mary's for a long time; they enjoy getting to know residents and often build warm friendships with them.\nThe home is ideally located with Luton town just a short walk away, or you can hop on a bus right outside the home.\nDietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms.\nThere’s a real sense of community at the home. Our care home is more than just a place to live; it's a community where every detail matters, and every team member makes a difference.\nYou’ll help us make health happen by\nAlways maintaining high standards of laundry within our home.\nKeeping our resident’s looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed.\nMaintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you’ll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.\nKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:\nYou take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
