Job Description: Laundry Assistant - Weekends only Location: St Mary's Care Home, 19 Dunstable Road, Luton, LU1 1BE Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour, depending on experience Contract: Permanent, part time, weekends only - 8am - 4pm. About St Mary's Care Home St Mary’s provides quality residential and nursing care, whilst also specialising in palliative, respite and post operative convalescence care. They also offer nursing care for people living with Parkinson's and Huntington's disease (depending on need). Residents have a choice of places to find company or quiet time - from the vintage café, comfortable lounges, to the lovingly tended gardens. With high ceilings, big rooms and sash windows, residents can enjoy ample light in a refreshing open environment. Many staff have been at St Mary's for a long time; they enjoy getting to know residents and often build warm friendships with them. The home is ideally located with Luton town just a short walk away, or you can hop on a bus right outside the home. Dietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms. Th
