You'll lead the Operations Insight function within the Bupa Capability Centre (BCC), providing valuable reporting, analytics and business insight that supports both operational teams and senior leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how data is used across a large international healthcare organisation, influencing strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs our Operations Insight Service Manager, you'll:\nLead the delivery of operational reporting, analytics and insight across BCC Operations.\nProduce and present meaningful performance reports and dashboards to operational and executive stakeholders.\nIdentify trends in customer demand and operational performance, turning data into practical recommendations.\nSupport governance forums and leadership teams with accurate, timely management information.\nDrive the development of business intelligence solutions and visual reporting tools.\nPartner with operational leaders to understand changing insight requirements and support strategic decision-making.\nConduct root cause analysis to identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies.\nSupport transformation projects with data-driven insight throughout the project lifecycle.\nBuild strong relationships across Bupa's analytics and business teams to share best practice and improve outcomes.\nEnsure robust reporting continuity and governance processes are maintained.\nWhat we are looking for\nWe're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.\nEssential requirements for this role:\nExperience leading and developing teams in operational insight reporting is a must.\nDegree-level education or equivalent experience, ideally in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field.\nExperience leading reporting, insight, analytics or business intelligence functions.\nStrong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.\nExperience producing meaningful operational performance reporting and insight.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel and VBA.\nDemonstrated ability to transform complex datasets into insightful, visually compelling, and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. Capable of designing advanced visualizations, applying data modelling techniques, creating DAX measures, and presenting actionable business insights that support strategic decision-making.\nThe ability to translate complex data into clear, engaging business recommendations.\nCommercial awareness and the ability to understand operational and financial drivers.\nStrong presentation and storytelling skills.\nExperience working in a regulated environment would be advantageous.\nExperience working across international teams and cultures would be beneficial.\nWhy Bupa?\nWe're a health insurer and healthcare provider with no shareholders.
