The hospital has 114 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostics, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.\nThe Unit\nSome of the procedures performed in our services include: Ablations, Coronary angiograms and angioplasties, Cardiac Devices insertion/removal, PFO closure, TAVI, EVAR, Prostate embolization, Fibroid embolization, Varicocele embolization, Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties,PTC, Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization.\nYou’ll help us make health happen by:\nAs the Cath Lab Radiographer you’ll maintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards. Duties include and not limited to:\nMaintain a high standard of imaging and patient care in accordance with the departmental and hospital quality standards.\n\nPerform all types of IR, cardiac and neuro procedures as required by referring Physicians according to departmental policies and procedures. angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization.\n\nDemonstrate significant evidence of cardiac expertise and angiographic knowledge to meet with the expectations of the interventional consultants.\n\nEnsure that a high-quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting.\n\nAccurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.\n\nParticipate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing and Radiation Protection, maintaining accurate records and reporting problems to the Radiation Protection Supervisor.\n\nBe prepared to train and work in both single plane and biplane Angiographic Studies.\n\nKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:\nAngiography specific radiology qualification/certificate(desirable)\nRelevant post-grad experience in an Angiography Lab (essential)\nPAC’s Trained (essential)\nQualifications\nBSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)\nRegistration with HCPC (essential)\nWhy work for us?\nWe want people to ‘love working here’, so much so that’s it’s at the top of our agenda and something you’ll hear a lot about here at Bupa.
