(Senior) Business Analyst Manager, Claims Excellence

What is this job about

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading business analysis and solution design across multiple project workstreams.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and define integrated solutions for Operations and related functions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts, promoting best practices and professional standards.
• Drive feasibility studies, develop business cases, and secure stakeholder buy-in to enable successful implementation and value delivery.
• Define, review, and govern business requirements, ensuring clear documentation and effective communication with Technology teams.
• Oversee UAT planning and execution, including test design and validation, to ensure solutions are delivered with minimal risk.
• Support project governance by contributing to project documentation (e.g. PIDs), timelines, and PMO standards.
• Develop training materials and deliver training to support new systems, processes, and operating models.
• Champion AI and digital initiatives, identifying opportunities in automation, machine learning, and analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement scalable, compliant AI solutions, ensuring proper governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, business analysis practices, and relevant technologies.
• Carry out all duties with regards to Bupa’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role leading a team of Business Analyst(s)
• University degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant disciplines.
• Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner, PMP) (Desirable).
• MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification (Desirable).
• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within Insurance Operations, with a strong understanding of end-to-end claims and policy processes
• Proven track record of successful launches of Claims Management system(s) in the Insurance industry will be an asset
