Through delivery of tax transformation and technology solutions you will play a key role in supporting the wider Group tax function with delivery of consolidated tax reporting and ensuring compliance with international and UK tax regulations. You will help ensure our global tax approach is responsible, transparent, and aligned with how we care for our customers and communities.\nAs the Tax Transformation and Technology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting tax transformation initiatives and leveraging technology to ensure compliance and the optimisation of tax processes. Your primary responsibility will be to support on the final year of Bupa’s implementation of Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service) for Pillar 2, IFRS Tax Reporting and Country by Country Reporting (CbCR), focusing on embedding business as usual governance and supporting on the design and implementation of remaining enhancements. You will also support on the technology and transformation aspects of the Pillar 2 compliance process and outsourcing, including supporting with the refresh, re-tender or model change (e.g. bringing some aspects in-house) for the global outsourcing of Pillar 2 and CbCR compliance.\nYou will work with the TRCS Project team, Group tax and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Group and Market Unit (MU) financial reporting, technology, finance systems, transformation, and tax teams, as well as external stakeholders and advisers.\nHow you’ll help us make health happen:\nShaping the future of tax transformation across a complex global organisation.\nDriving improvements in tax reporting, compliance and technology through innovative, scalable solutions.\nPartnering with Tax, Finance and Technology teams to deliver strategic transformation programmes.\nBuilding sustainable governance, controls and operating models that support long-term success.\nLeading process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, automation and user experience.\nTranslating complex tax and regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.\nSupporting global users through training, guidance and continuous process optimisation.\nPlaying a key role in Pillar Two, Transfer Pricing and wider tax technology initiatives.\nCoordinating project governance, stakeholder engagement and executive-level reporting.\nHelping define the future tax technology roadmap and influence the next phase of Finance Transformation.\nWhat you'll bring:\nACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).\n Experience with managing and supporting implementation of Tax Reporting and/or Tax Compliance and/or Tax processes (such as CbCR and Pillar 2) either at a multinational organisation or in practice supporting similar organisations.\nStrong tax technology capability, including experience of tax reporting, compliance and finance systems, ERP platforms, data analytics tools and advanced Excel. Knowledge of Oracle EPM TRCS is desirable; however, experience with alternative tax or finance technologies and a proven ability to adapt and apply transferable skills in a tax transformation environment is equally important.\nUnderstanding of international tax regulations, including Pillar 2 rules, CbCR, and their implications for multinational organisations.\nAbility to communicate between Tax and non-tax stakeholders, translating tax technical requirements into functional and technical solutions acting as a bridge between Tax, Finance, Technology and external partners to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, prioritised and successfully delivered. Ability to work across geographies and a matrix environment where collaboration and relationship management is a crucial skill.\nDemonstrated experience in project management, and successfully implementing tax-related initiatives.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and apply it to practical solutions.\nExcellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the Group and across businesses and cultures.\nAttention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in tax calculations, reporting, and documentation.\nAbility to adapt to changing tax regulations and technological advancements and support with driving continuous improvement initiatives.\nExpected to take an active responsibility for developing their technical knowledge, as well as their understanding of Bupa’s UK and overseas businesses. \nBenefits\nOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
