Team Lead - Mobile

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Engineering Team Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile application development, hands-on technical leadership, software architecture, and team management. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile solutions while collaborating with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of mobile applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of mobile developers.
• Define mobile application architecture, coding standards, development practices, and engineering best practices.
• Drive end-to-end development, from requirement analysis and solution design to release and production support.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver business requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and mobile application development best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, development productivity, and product quality.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in mobile application development using Flutter and Dart.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider.
• Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and other backend services.
• Knowledge of local databases, offline data synchronisation, and application caching.
• Experience with mobile application performance optimisation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with unit testing, widget testing, integration testing, and code quality tools.
• Understanding of mobile application security, authentication, and secure data handling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile application release management.
