Instrumentation is HPLC and GC. This will be executed through electronic notebooking in a GMP environment.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nIt is everyone’s responsibility to live out our Values and Absolutes by Shaping a World of Trust while ensuring responsible progress.\nUnderstand and adhere to standards for appropriate test methods and SOPs\nPrepare equipment for testing using prescribed standards / specifications\nPerform HPLC and GC on routine samples\nPerform pipetting, serial dilutions using volumetric glassware\nUtilize a microbalance and analytical balance\nPrepare a variety of samples for testing using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards / specifications.\nPerform quality and safety checks on samples submitted prior to testing.\nAccurately report and record test data in electronic notebooks as needed in a timely manner\nMaintain supplies, lab cleanliness and analytical instrumentation, as required.\nPrepare stock solutions, and keeping shelves and reagent stocked.\nMaintain up to date knowledge of current methods and products to be tested.\nFollow guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures\nFollow guidelines set forth by clients and the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality Manual and Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan\nAdhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System\nOther duties as defined by Manager, department needs and workload.\nSkills & Proficiencies:\nKnowledge of GMP regulations\nWritten and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients\nOrganizational and time management skills\nAbility to perform multiple tasks\nAbility to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines\nIndividual and Team work ethic\nProficiency with Windows, Word & Excel\nAttention to detail\nPositive attitude, self-motivated, high level of engagement\nAbility to present both facts and recommendations effectively\nTechnical problem solving and process improvement skills\nChampions company Values\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field\nMinimum of 2 years experience with HPLC or GC\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.\nCompensation Range: $21 -
