Such services include early- and late-stage development, technical advisory, owner’s engineering, construction management, procurement support, and asset management.\nRole\nBureau Veritas Romania is currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join the Renewables team in Romania. The successful candidate shall play a key role in overseeing the execution of electrical infrastructure and grid connection works performed by (EPC) contractors on renewable project sites.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities shall include, but shall not be limited to:\nSupervise all LV / MV / HV electrical works on site to ensure full compliance with design specifications, applicable standards and regulations, and quality requirements.\nSupervise the execution and commissioning of electrical systems.\nConduct inspections, testing, and verification activities to validate the quality and functionality of installations.\nPlan, prioritize, and monitor works progress.\nAddress delays, technical issues, and resource needs.\nCoordinate daily activities on site to ensure smooth multidisciplinary execution.\nIdentify risks, resolve operational problems on site, and ensure corrective actions are implemented quickly and effectively.\nEnforce safety procedures, work permits, isolations / energizations, and compliance with HSE regulations.\nReview and manage related documentation, including basic and detailed designs, drawings, checklists, non-conformities, change orders, as-builts, punch lists, and progress reports.\nSupport the decision-making process from both technical and commercial aspects.\nStakeholder management - establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal Project Management Teams, client representatives, transmission and distribution system operators, regulatory bodies, design teams, and contractors.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or relevant engineering field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in supervising electrical works on large-scale industrial projects. Having worked on renewable projects is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of Romanian electrical standards, procedures, regulations, and permitting process for renewable energy assets.\nStrong background in electrical commissioning.\nSkills and Competencies\nDisciplined work approach with a strong work ethic.\nHighly motivated, organized, and independent, with strong analytical thinking.\nStrong leadership, with a pro-active and problem-solving mindset.\nFocused on maintaining a safe working environment.\nExcellent communication skills in Romanian and English.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).\n\nLocation\nFull-time on-site during projects execution.
