The position will also provide technical leadership, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure successful system commissioning and handover.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate electrical commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design review to final handover.\nReview electrical design drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and equipment documentation.\nDevelop and review commissioning plans, method statements, functional performance test scripts, and integrated systems testing procedures.\nLead and witness static, dynamic, functional performance, and integrated systems testing of critical electrical infrastructure.\nCommission and test HV, MV, and LV power distribution systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, STS, PDUs, and associated electrical equipment.\nVerify electrical protection schemes, control systems, grounding, instrumentation, and power quality.\nPerform and supervise load bank testing, electrical measurements, and system performance verification.\nReview and interpret test results, electrical waveforms, and equipment operating data to identify faults and performance issues.\nTroubleshoot complex electrical system failures and coordinate corrective actions with contractors, vendors, and project teams.\nEnsure commissioning activities comply with approved designs, project specifications, relevant electrical standards, and site HSE requirements.\nCoordinate with mechanical, controls, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and PLC teams during functional and integrated systems testing.\nReview and verify control and communication interfaces, including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet-based systems.\nConduct site inspections, prepare commissioning reports, maintain test records, and issue punch lists for outstanding deficiencies.\nMonitor commissioning progress against project schedules and report technical issues, risks, and delays to project management.\nCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical queries and RFIs.\nLead commissioning meetings, prepare minutes of meetings, and provide regular progress updates.\nReview corrective actions, verify system readiness, and support final acceptance, documentation, and handover.\nProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to commission engineers and technicians.\nPerform other duties assigned by project management in line with project requirements.\nTechnical Experience and Competencies\nRequired technical knowledge includes:\nHV, MV, and LV power generation and distribution systems.\nElectrical protection systems, relays, and protection coordination.\nTransformers, generators, switchgear, and distribution equipment.\nUPS systems, static transfer switches (STS), power distribution units (PDUs), and associated bypass arrangements.\nElectrical power conversion systems and power quality analysis.\nElectrical control systems, EPMS, SCADA, PLC, and monitoring interfaces.\nLoad bank testing, load calculations, and electrical performance verification.\nGrounding, earthing, and electrical instrumentation.\nElectrical test equipment, including power quality analyzers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.\nCommunication protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet.\nFunctional performance testing and integrated systems testing for critical facilities.\nInterpretation of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is an advantage.\nMinimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical commissioning, testing, and engineering.\nDemonstrated experience leading electrical commissioning activities for large-scale industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects.\nData center commissioning experience is highly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, commissioning methodologies, testing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, equipment suppliers, and client representatives.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering documentation tools.\nExcellent technical report writing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management
