Reliability Engineer\n\nKey Working Relationship\n\nTechnical Center Engineers (RTC11 to RTC23)\nTechnical Center Coordinators (RTC##)\nTC Document Controller (RTC02)\nReliability, Maintenance, RCM, RCA, \nHe/She is expected to establish direct contact with Activity Managers of other offices within Middle East Region and MIRA Zone and whenever necessary with other Regions of Bureau Veritas organization.\n\nMinimum Required Qualifications\n\nSpecialty\n\nMaintenance, RAM Modelling, RAM Software Experience\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor or master degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Control Engineering, Chemical or equivalent\n\nTraining\n\nRAM Software\n\nTechnical knowledge\n\nRAM Modelling, RBD,\n\nExperience\n\n5 to 10 years\n\nResponsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities\n\nPrimary Functions\n\nBasic understanding of functional safety principles in engineering projects. \nStrong understanding of reliability engineering principles and maintenance concepts\nFamiliarity with RAM or reliability software tools (e.g., DNV Maros, ReliaSoft, Isograph)\nExperience with RAM analysis techniques such as RBD, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, and LCC\nKnowledge of statistical analysis and failure data modelling\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system architecture\nFamiliarity with basic industry regulations and safety standards.\nManage technical documentation including specifications, procedures, calculations, reports, etc.\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of technical documentation with project requirements and standards.\nOrganize and maintain documentation for easy accessibility. \n\nTechnical Expertise\n\nResponsible for analyzing, modelling, and improving the reliability, availability, and maintainability of systems and equipment throughout their lifecycle.\nPerforming RAM studies, supporting design and operational decisions, and ensuring system performance meets contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.\nPerform RAM analyses including Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Maintainability analysis\nDevelop reliability and availability models to predict system performance and lifecycle costs\nAnalyze failure data, maintenance records, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities\nDefine RAM requirements and performance targets in coordination with design, operations, and safety teams\nSupport system design reviews by providing RAM inputs and recommendations\nConduct Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and optimize maintenance strategies\nEvaluate preventive and corrective maintenance plans to improve system availability\nPrepare RAM reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders\nSupport risk assessments and safety studies where RAM inputs are required\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, safety, operations, and maintenance\nSupport the implementation and coordination of RAMS processes across project phases.\nEnsure adherence to relevant regulations and standards in developing RAMS deliverables.\nContribute to conducting risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards and safety risks.\nContribute to the development and review of key RAMS deliverables like safety plans and hazard logs.\nAssume overall responsibility for assigned tasks related to asset maintenance projects.\nExecute engineering activities including but not limited to analysis, documentation and reporting.\n\nBusiness Requirements\n\nParticipate in products development and dissemination in his field(s) of expertise\nAssists in commercial actions to link client’s
