The Safety Manager will work to implement the Bradley Safety program at our wind and solar project sites and ensure a safe work environment for team members, contractors, and visitors to the construction work site.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nOrganization, flexibility, outstanding focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:\nAssist project management team in developing and executing site specific safety program and Emergency Action Plan\nImplement and administer safety program at each worksite for team members\nAdvise, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level\nReview and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, good catches, etc.\nConduct work area safety audits\nProvide Daily, Weekly, Monthly Safety Reports as required.\nReview project’s leading and trailing indicator data/document collection and trend analyses\nReview major incident analysis with corporate management\nAnalyze Safety, Injury and Hazard statistics\nCoordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements\nAdminister BCM (BIM), BV (Qesis). and Developer Safety Audit Programs\nReview Safety Submittals and attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings with contractors\nMonitor and review trade partner work plans and activities for safety concerns\nAssist with onsite injury management and case management\nAssist with the organization and implementation of project safety celebrations and recognition/reward programs\nEvaluate and offer solutions for industrial hygiene concerns\nMaintain operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations, laws, and procedures\nServe as resource for safety issues or concerns for all project team members\nAttend and/or chair safety meetings\nAccompany safety, health, insurance, and OSHA personnel on work-site tours\nAssist the Project Manager with the management of the safety budget allocated for project\nSkills\nThe requirements listed below are representative of acquired skills required.\nIn-depth knowledge of construction products, plans, specifications, project workflow/sequencing, and PV construction industry best practices\nStrong understanding of NEC\nExperience in similar capacity on a project team for commercial projects directing crews or tradesmen in general construction, assembly and/or electrical work\nDocumented history of managing crews and subcontractors in the field\nKnowledge of major PV components (PV modules, inverters, and racking systems, etc.) preferred\nTower Safety and Climbing Certified\nStrong Microsoft office familiarity\nMust have OSHA 500/ First Aid/ CPR or equivalent or be able to obtain it in a short period of time\nCompetencies\nThe requirements listed below are competencies required to perform the job successfully.\nMust have a clean driving record and a valid state driver’s license with the ability to travel as required\nMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
