This position also includes administrative functions.\n-\nKey Accountability/Responsibilities:\nGreet all clients in a friendly, positive manner\nReceive all external client samples\nUnpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements\nEnsure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and/or received date\nEnsure all required samples are redirected as required\nPrepare bottle order requests and coordinate delivery of bottle orders\nProvide support to the Sample Login team\nEnsure accuracy of results and data entry\nRecognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor\nEnsure supply inventories are maintained\nProactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to Project Management and Supervisor as appropriate\nMonitor/Calibrate the temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns\nAdhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements\nAdhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies\nEnsure “Good Housekeeping” standards are met or exceeded\nAll other responsibilities as assigned\n -\nAttributes:\nExcellent attention to detail\nStrong communication skills (both written and verbal).\nStrong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)\nAbility to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments\nEnergetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs\nAvailability for shift work, OT and weekend work required\nWorking Conditions:\nHigh level of work production in fast-paced lab environment\nFlexible working hours, overtime and shift work\nChanging priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines\nSome lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing\nHazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment\n-\nBureau Veritas is a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services.\nWhen we look at Bureau Veritas, we want to see a reflection of the communities in which we work.
